Interactive Classroom Learning & Fun Activities
On 5th November 2026, Neu Oxford Public School organised a special day dedicated to interactive classroom learning and fun activities. The event aimed to break the monotony of routine studies and encourage students to learn through play, collaboration, and creativity.
Teachers from Pre-School to Class 10 designed subject‑based games, group discussions, art integration sessions, and hands‑on experiments. The day proved that learning can be joyful when combined with active participation and curiosity.
"When children engage in hands‑on activities, they not only understand concepts better but also develop problem‑solving and teamwork skills. This day reminded us that the best classroom is one where students are actively involved."
— Mrs. Anjali Mishra (Academic Coordinator)
The day started with an energising morning assembly, followed by a series of activity‑based sessions. In the primary wing, children enjoyed word building games, number bingo, and storytelling with puppets. Middle school students participated in science model making, geography quizzes, and role‑plays on historical events. The senior classes had debates, coding challenges, and creative writing workshops.
Activity Highlights
Some of the most loved activities of the day were:
- Pre-Primary: Sensory play, clay modelling, and alphabet treasure hunt.
- Classes 1–5: Maths puzzle race, Hindi/English word chain, and drawing competition.
- Classes 6–8: Science exhibition, geography map‑marking contest, and group dance.
- Classes 9–10: Mock parliament debate, coding with Scratch, and essay writing.
